The provincial guidelines for mapping wetlands in the Prairie/Parkland zones of Alberta (GOA 2020) were also considered when creating the wetland inventory. Specifically, this inventory uses the Alberta Wetland Classification System (AESRD 2015) to assign a wetland class to each wetland, and the inventory meets the minimum mapping unit (MMU) standard of 0.04 ha specified in the provincial guideline<\/SPAN><SPAN>.
